    Just fish it slow. I like to use a soft plastic minnow imitation trailer and a crappie nibble on mine. Long line Troll, Slip float,Cast and retrieve, Vertical, Free fall, dead stick. whatever technique you have CONFIDENCE IN is the one that will catch the most fish. My personal confidence ones are long line trolling or slip float cast and retrieve.

    used a road runner many a years in the timber dropping it down the tree trunks in the summer at over 100 degrees outside in the middle of the day
    sure will ketch a bunch of big ole crappie fish that way for sure .
    sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales

    I use them fishing deep in the winter, fish 65 FOW catching 42’ down. Not sure how much light gets that deep. In my mind the vibration and or flash really helps deep.
