My eldest gifted my bride and I a Ninja Foodi, which is a combination Pressure Cooker, Air Fryer, Steamer and a couple other things. So far the Air Fried stuff has been just "meh". I need to work on the seasoning.

I deep fry my food in peanut oil and let it air dry for a few minutes to drain the excess before I gooble it down, on a health kick and all now! Air fryerAir fryer

I like to add a tad bit of spray oil like the olive oil spray on them first before air frying do away with basket and add oil in bottom and cook like that make sure you stir after just a few minutes so fish gets coated to help with crisping

It’s all about technique guys,,, I always use about a few tablespoons of oil when cooking fish or fries ,,, Helps with making them crisp instead of trying to cook dry flour or cornmeal,,,,just like a salad , after fish starts to cook a tad,,, roll that fish around the little oil in bottom to help coat those fish,,,nthennwatch the difference,,,add salt and season it too while in pan as well,,,works out great

It’s a little intimidating at first when using this puppy,,, all them fancy words like sous vide and sauté,, but once you watch a few U-tube videos on what they do,,,, it’s eazy peezy....trick is to experiment,,,pressure cooker is pretty straight forward I think,,, meat, veggies,,and some sauce,,, push button and wait,,,,comes out so juicy and tender it’s crazy,,, and in half the time an oven can do it....and once your done cooking it’s,,,cool it down and wipe it out,,, the bowl you cook in is like Teflon treated and just almost wipes cleAn,,,I just use alittle hot water and soap,, rinse, then wipe it dry for round 2,,,

Secret is,,, Don’t be afraid to use alittle oil if you want real fried fish,,,spray or roll it around after it cooks a tad first,,,zthey never say NOT to use oil,,,,so use it lightly and make sure it tastes and cooks the way you like it,,, does great with just a few teaspoons of oil
