Update on this problem I have with this net..... I emailed ego customer service and explained my problem. I told them it was "about" 2 years old but probably not in warranty anymore. I just asked if I could do anything to the handle to make it tighten up. I got a response... " tell us the model number and we will send you a new one". I was not expecting that response. They did not have to do that at all. Needless to say, I am more than happy with their customer service and HIGHLY recommend their products.

I ordered a Jenco from Grizzly jig co. Yesterday, I like the idea of a 12ft net being 14 ounces

I think you will be happy with your new purchase. I've been using my Jenko net for a while now and it has served me well. This summer I did switch the head out to the rubber coated net which added a little weight but it is still extremely light.
