I also vote for the Boomerang Tool. Once you try it you will wonder why you didn't sooner. Little more expensive ($12) but very easy to use and cut any line right at the hook eye easily. I hook them on my belt loop for always having them close by and easy to get to. Works good for me.

I use Fiskers. Got several CYA pairs Been using them since CP made mention years back. Cat's meow they be. Dowel rod is a top notch tool also. I graduated from a dowel to a soft grip #2 phillips. Call it a multipurpose tool if you wish.

It took me a while to find this - it is the thread I posted some time ago about scissors.

Thanks for the post on Fiskers. I used to post a reminder about Fiskers & Back to school but old age has really caught up with me. I always bought Fiskers and at $2.00 a pair I would replace them every 2 years always worked fine for me.

I bought the pointed version, I think they have bigger finger holes than the blunted ones. I used them last night cutting 60 lb braided line catfishing.

I do need to find a better way to store tools to fid them.

Just got the wife to buy me 2 new pair yesterday. One pink and one red. The pink are staying in the shop. 1.25 ea at the Mart. Cut better than my high dollar rapala.
