Beetle Spins are better than Side Imaging in 1-2 foot of water. Itza good search engine. Road runners are good too. Either will work. Just don't always throw to the bank, fan your casts.

Just so I'm being clear ( pardon the pun), here in almost heaven WV, we got tons of red clay. The copious amount of rain and runoff has the lakes red clay muddy, not just dirty, does that change things? Sorry for all the questions, but this dang rainy spring has sure made a mess of things.

Try using a 1/16 oz jighead with a black & chartreuse jig of your choice under the smallest float that will hold it up. The idea is to make as little splash as possible when you cast. Fish in that stained of water will be very shallow and will spook easily with the noise of the cast.
