I think I should retie more often than I do anyway, so I retie anytime I change lures etc.

I can see that with bass or walleye but not so much with crappie.

I use the Size #1 from Jann's Netcraft on all of my Bandit & Strike King lures.
I do remove the split ring from the lure eye and replace with the snap. Being
a longtime salmon fisherman on Lk Michigan, I tried to heed the advice given
to me by some of the better charter captains on the lake, so I figured if I use
them on my salmon and my walleye crankbaits, they should be good on the
Bandits and the Strike King crappie lures.

Old guys like me could probably make good use of these things. I plan on fishing for walleye off the dam this spring and I don't like to use lights anymore than necessary. Old eyes don't work well in dim light.

I have issue putting fast snap large with jigs. Guess I’m doing something wrong.

I use snap swivels for spider rigging and pulling cranks. I tie direct to the lure when slip bobber, jigging, and casting.

I use the Duo snap locks #0. I get them from Amazon and if memory serves me correctly they $5 per 100. They just seem more sturdy to me than the Fast Snaps.
