SouthernCrappie rods. Cheaper and better.
Looking to get a new set of rods going from 12'ers to 14'ers I'm leaning towards bnm trolling rods but just want some real decent rods for spider rigging in the 40$ a pole range what do you all recommend I use baitcasters if that makes difference thanks

Scr143 is what I'm looking at would you guys lean towards these over the bnm trolling rods?
the 143 has a lighter action the 143t is more like a bnm pst it is stiffer for heavier rigs! Both are great rods if all your doing is spider rigging go with the 143
I've used up to 1oz weights with the regular 143

Definitely the Southern Crappie 143. I'm very happy with mine after adding trolling into my arsenal as well. Fishing heavy cover and hanging stumps, brush piles, stake beds. No problem. These things are tough!
