    Yes it is but I really like the Fuji TVS reel seats with EVA split grips.....much lighter and more sensitive.

    Definitly something with hard plastic to protect the tips. I have three cabelas some case rod bags that fit 6 rods a piece used them once as that is how many time it took for 2 exfast tips on my st croix legends to break after careful handling into and out of my truck. They provide no protection for the tips.
