Fish 6 days a month on average. Don't remember getting skunked. Low count is around5-6, average 15, 30 or more 1-3 times. How long depends. I don't fish unless I know the fish are there.

We normally get the boat out sometime in March and put it away mid to late November depending on the weather. We do our best to get out once a week but sometimes we will get out twice in a week and most trips are 4 to 5 hours max.My main two fishing partners these days are my young kids ages 6 and 9 so a lot depends on what they wanna do and keeping it fun for them while hopefully teaching them something. We had a few pretty slow days this past year but didn't get skunked,we also had some pretty darn good days and everyday we had out there on the water was fun.

I have to join in the folks that don't rate the day according to the amount of fish caught. Most of the days I only go for a short day and head home by around noon, sometimes before. I would have eaten well on most any day but have had a few days when I didn't have anything to take home, but it's rare. I frequently go to wash away the ugly in my head that the work week leaves behind. My excellent days are when I get to take someone up and coming and watch the light come on and the shine in their eyes. Those days are stellar. I always have fish in the freezer and eat all I care for.

Power fish until you find em and get a pattern, then stay on em until the pattern changes and power up again.

There was a time that a limit was achieved fairly regular . With the 12 rule and return to vertical jigging only, supper is the goal . All else is gravy . don't really care to clean very many or eat frozen fish other than red ear . Age can really change a fellow . Ask the deer .

I think the main issue is the lake you fish. Some are different. I fish a couple of small delta lakes that I can always catch "a" fish on. Sometimes a limit, sometimes not. Grenada is a totally different situation. She has skunked me more than once. Sometimes Grenada is hard to catch dinner on. Sometimes Grenada is on fire. If i always wanted to catch a mess of fish, I would leave Grenada alone. But I keep going back .

I have close to three hundred spots marked on my home lake, in my three gps's, so I never get skunked. An old timer named Jerry Blinzly told me personally, that there's always fish biting somewhere on the lake. You just have to find them. With that many spots to check, I find them.

April thru December a conservative guess would be about 93%. January thru March maybe 10%. Even though everyone says winter is best for crappie I just can't seem to find more than a few at a time. Now that I am retired I pan on putting more effort into learning.

I try to get on the water at least twice a month. I normally fish roughly six hours launching before sunrise. Watching the sunrise from the water alone makes my day! I don't remember being skunked, but there certainly have been some lean catches. I fish for fun. Most of the time I catch and release or find someone to give my catch to.

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!

I just want to know where the swimming pool is, who the teacher was and what lure did you fish with?
