They are only 6 inches wide. saves a lot of space on you rig.

I came up with this design and Mark took it from there. My Excel Bay Pro has no room on the gunnels to place horizontal racks so I needed something vertical. They work great.

Here is are horizontal or flat rack. Holds 8 rods and its 12 inches wide but not as tall as a lot of the other racks.
Both the vertical and horizontal are made from sea board plastic a marine grade material will not scratch your rods and has no coating or paint that can peal off.
Hardware is all stainless steel on both units.
