The Mega Cast has thumb bar release, not sure what you are calling a "flipping switch".

The latest generation of the Silver Max baitcast reel series incorporates updated styling with advanced ergonomics. Notable advancements include a new Rocket clutch mechanism that gives anglers the ability to engage/disengage the spool with one hand. This feature eliminates the need for anglers to turn the handle for engagement and is perfect for pitching, flipping or back trolling fishing techniques.

Hey rickie, those newer silver max reels are funny to me though, they don't have the traditional on off switch. When the thumb bar is pressed the "flipping switch" pops up so then you have to press it back down top stop the spool. My old one has regular switch I like it a lot better.
What is the cheapest reel with a flipping switch if anyone knows

Can you explain this a little further ... ??

The flipping switch action I'm interested in is pressing the thumb bar and "feathering" the spool with the same thumb press ... then simply lifting the thumb re-engages the reel ...(without using the handle) ...

The left handed ones I got at Grizzly are the cheapest I found, ended up with a dozen of them.
