I use a Bulldog side case that looks just like a black cell phone holder. It is made to carry a small weapon. I carry my little Ruger LCP in it because it is so small. No one knows it isn't a cell phone it. I got it on EBAY for $17.22 shipped. Works great

Just put the following in the Ebay search block. Bulldog Cases Black Nylon Vertical Phone Holster w/Belt Loop/Clip BD848

Kenny, our conversation at Erie about CC really got me to thinking about it and your concerns about LEOs. As many times as you've been in my boat me,most of the time I was carrying in the boat but not on my person. I've had clients who had no idea my 9mm was in the boat say they would be scared to be in the presence of somebody who was not police that was armed. I never let them know any different.

If you have your CC permit you should be informed on how to ack when pulled over by the police. Hands on the top of the wheel and tell them you are a CC holder and tell them where the gun is on you or in the car/truck. They will tell you what to do so you and them will be safe.

We have our Conceal Carry Card right next to our Driver's Lic.When we hand over the Driver's lic he/she gets the CC lic at the same time usually had them right back.

I have issues with these type of holsters. Imo they make the holster itself the target of a thief, thinking they are stealing your cell phone. Its they same reason I tell women not to carry in their purse. Even John Wayne couldn't draw his gun from that before an armed criminal forced you to hand it to them. I have carried for years and practice weekly, but if someone has the drop on you and is making you empty your pockets, cell phone holder, purse etc there is nothing you can do but hand over your gun. Think about it like this...If you were holding a burglar at gun point, could he draw his gun from that before you stopped the threat? Sometimes it better to know when not to draw your weapon, so if your not gonna draw it, make sure its hid.

What saddens me is that this is the world we are now living in. What and Why has it come to this?

It's been over 25 years since I've been pulled over by the police, if not longer. Can't recall. I guess I'm one of few that isn't in a hurry.

I have only had one speeding ticket in my life. I just don't speed intentionally. I was in Mississippi on the way to my grandmother's funeral and was pulled over via speed trap. Had to pay cash on the spot at a Tent kangaroo court or go to jail. Had my dress uniform on, US Navy. Didn't help. This was 55 years ago. I am "clean Tom".

I have an under the steering wheel mount. I don't carry much. It is against the law to have one on federal property @VA. Trips to VA are about all I make nowadays.
