Tom the stopper is a little smaller than the rubber football type. I have had no problems with it so far other than trying to get it snapped to the line. Practice should make me better at it. I've only used it on one outing but will be using them again today. I post any problems that I find.

Try to snap it on with needle-nose pliers. Glad you liked them. The bobber allows you to cast a lot further too.

Use the bobber and stop today to land 9 bass and 3 slabs on minnows. All worked fine.

Did you roll the stop up into the reel? I cast out from our dock to 10-12 ft of water with a 5 ft wally pole using a cheap underspin. I have to crank the stopper inside the chrome dome because of depth setting via stopper.

No, I don't have water that deep to fish. I have cranked it into the eyes without a problem but into the dome might me a bit of a problem. I don't know of any stop that would do that well although I haven't had much practice with them because most of he time I'm fishing but 3 to 4 feet deep.

My major problem is casting out. Our dock is covered, so it is hard to use a long pole for casting. The edge of the tin roof will rip a pole apart (experience). The string works best when inside reel, but it hangs sometimes. I went to the local walmart but they didn't have any of these type stoppers. I will give them a try when I find some. I like bobber fishing. Ima too darn lazy to take boat out sometimes.

I bought some at the Collinsville Fishing Show but can't remember if it was 2015 or 2016.
