I got my wife a new 18/72 boat for valentines. . . .

ah, whos kidding who. I snuck out and bought it while she was still under the influence of those narcotics they give women while they have babies. You know, I got to fish a lot that week she was in the hospital, but ever since she came home, almost none. Oh well, the boat won't be here for another month, I have some time to figure out a story.

no way dude, you were fishing while she was in the hospital plus you bought a boat you better start thinking, stuff like that causes divorces.

use the same excuse they excuse they do when they go in a shopping spree,(if she is that type of woman otherwise forget it) the price was unbeatable, it was the last one on the boat dealer, and offer you could not let go, it was the sale of the year, they were cleaning the lot to bring in the newer models

The preacher (my fishing buddy) let it slip this afternoon about the boat. I noticed that she started acting a little funny, especially when she peeled out in her Tahoe on the carport and nearly mushed me. Tonight before dinner she made a full demand for the cost of this little project. I guess parking it in the barn and saying that I've had it for a long time is out now.

Could be trouble.
