I did my tour in 1972 USAF in a bomb dump, given the chance I'd do it again.
I will admit it still gets to me the way the vets were treated when they came home. Now that the general mood towards military personnel has changed to more favorable position, I wonder if those jackass's standing out side the military bases screaming "baby killer" and flipping us off tell their kids and grand kids how they acted. Not much in life gets to me but this does give me pause.

I'm a veteran from that era, but did not serve in "the Nam". My overseas duty was in South Korea 1969-1970 - 8th Army Quartermaster Corps.
I was basically ignored upon my return to "the real world", so I had no idea of all the "anti's" behavior until much later.
Thanks to all those who have served, are serving, or will serve in the future.
