most lakes that have good grass beds you have to fish it a large part of the time....because that's where they will be a large part of the year. There are lakes I fished before they had grass and it was the usual brush and timber and stump fields and rock structure etc.....after the grass came in have to spend 60 to 70 percent of your time there to catch anything. It has about 5 or 6 things going for it that make it a fish attractant.Especially for the sunfish like crappie,bluegill,and bass.
Well I believe that explains the situation I'm runnin into on this lake. The only type of cover that's deep on this lake is this particular weed line. And on the fish finder it looks like a minefield of fish, but I always hear about brush and that type of structure so I haven't really fished it yet. Looks like I'm gonna be hitting it up now.
