That's a great tool to have at your disposal. Nice work. And I thought my Excel worksheet/fishlog was hi-tech!

Cane Pole, you are definitely on the right track with this project. You can even hook up a cell phone to that PC and get access to the internet while fishing. That will enable real time photos, reports, SONAR images, etc. We are getting there a little at a time!

    Hey Tom
I found this great sight while I was doing a search on my toon project. Your toon robot caught my attention last fall. Did you ever catch a fish with that thing?

How weather resistant is it going to be? Are you going to have to scamble to store it during a quick rain shower?

Not yet. Waiting for the fishes to come my way. Probably try it out in March. I am just waiting on the Lowe Boaters to show up. I have caught fish with my robot boat. It is an 8 footer. Hard to control with any wind. This little pontoon only 30 inches long. It is powerful though. It slings a 25lb Shakesphere trolling motor blade.... It will pull a fish out of the water. I can't drive it worth a crap though. I am taking bets I can catch fish. Name your odds (for those non believers). I like this kinda stuff. I am a technology addict. Constantly needing my "tech fix". haha
