Okay, I think I'm leaning towards the Grizzly Elite. Thanks to everyone who responded.

Custom built rods for me. Store bought ones are just too heavy for my liking. Steelhead rods are what I like. The are not a rod you're gonna pick up for 40 bucks.

Since most of my fishing is brush piles in 10'-25' of water I'm partial to 7'-7.5' rods. My current favorites are St Croix Avids. I started out with and still use 8' & 10' Pro Anglers mainly when I'm timber fishing.

Really enjoy the thump of jig fishing for crappie.Have a 10' ozark,10' crappie max,10' white river fly rod. These are great rod's for jig fishing. But when the (Crappie Master)(Wally Marshall)handed me a 10'medium light Wally Marshall signature series crappie rod(WoW) Wally has made a pretty good living with a jig pole!!! Go to Grizzly jig and put each rod in your had and you will see the difference!!! A Wally Marshall signature series rod to crappie fishing is like a G.loomis rod to Bass Fishing!!!Bought a 9' last year and the 9'has became my favorite can be used in shallow water or deep.

11ft BnM Ultralight Bottom Reel Seat is lightest jig pole on the market, I can hold two of them all day long and detect those light biters whether fishing shallow or deep. I think the heavier stiffer rods reduce the number of bites I detect.
