Stren, buy it at a low price on E-bay. Mr. Crappie line is OK, get it anywhere.
I use and sell Viscous. It is made in the USA in Dora, AL in a former stren factory. Most all of the other lines are made in China.
Monk
Trilene XL or XT; Suffix XL or XT grades - both good lines that come off the spool with no coils. Fair price.
In most cases I don't care as long as I can see the line.

Cane Pole--Seeing the line is important for me to. I use Stren Gold 4 & 6#. I just got in some Kast King Crappie line, it is yellow neon and has a small diameter, but u can see it fine. I will try it when the weather gets better. Most of the cheaper lines
r ok at first, but coil up quick and have no knot strength.
$25-200 reel, $30-80 rod and worried about 1,000 yrs of line costin $14???
