Just installed 1159ci and the 360TM this week.
Best investment I've ever made as far as electronics.

As rvinc said, si only shows what is to either side of the boat, and directly under. 360 does just what the name implies, it shows a full 360 degrees, EXCEPT for what is directly under the boat. You can't use the 360 transducer for SI or di, and frankly, you wouldn't like the results if you could. While the 360 allows you to see structure and large schools of fish within 200ft(I think) of the boat in any direction, the images aren't nearly as clear as on di or si, especially when trying to identify structure, or seeing smaller groups of fish, or seeing fish in brush or other structure. So really, I wouldn't suggest buying the 360 to replace di/si, but rather to use it in conjunction with the tools that you already have.

You can still use di/si with the unit, you just have to use a separate transducer. I hope that made sense?

Size: 66.1 KB A lot of times the schools of crappie do not stay put to the structure. I've watched them with the 360 school in a hundred ft circle. When this is occurring is when the 360 really shines it allows you to pinpoint your cast and stay on the school

Here is a link to Rickies 360 Mount. If you need a way to mount the 360 to the bow of the boat. Works like a charm,

I have had one for awhile and absolutely love it! For me it shines when looking at the bottom all around me. You can stick to channel edges and walk them while trolling or jigging. Stay on a hump if you are jigging and see where the drop off is. If you are shallow, you can stay in a channel instead of going aground. It is phenomenal. My only question, is there software to support it in the new Helix that is coming out?

I would not want to be without it. I use it to find the shad balls and troll through them. In the spring I use it to see the depth changing and follow the contours while long lining. In the fall I set off of brush piles and cast roadrunners at them.

Thanks for the reviews. Headed to Bass Pro this morning to investigate more. Probably going to buy this tool. Years ago started using gps (increased catch rate), color coded minnow/cork rigs (increased catch rate with clients), betting this tool will again increase the catch rate...more fish...more trips...pays for itself.

The 10 and 12 should be on the market mid-November according to Humminbird customer service.
