    Someone mentioned the rocks in there head, I would have laughed out loud if I hadn't heard it before. My sis in law had that problem, they made her sleep with her head elevated and could not turn it to the side for a week. The vertigo left and then they had her try sleeping on her side for a few night to see if it would come back. It didn't and now all is well. She was also on some meds while doing the sleep treatment. The explanation I got was that we have some "rocks" in our inner ear and when some of the get out of position it causes the vertigo. The meds are suppose to help dissolve the ones out of place.
