Looks real to me also. He's just holding the fish out like most people do in a photo.

You are right. Shimino is spelled wrong.he put an "a" in it.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

Elbows are bent. He isn't trying to exaggerate the fish. I say it's a really nice 2.5 lb range REAL fish.

Real. Nice fish. Looks like most 15 -16 inch crappie look like. Camera perspective does come into play somewhat. Even with bent elbows the camera is closer to the fish than to him. At close range just a few inches is a relatively noticeable amount. From a distance, not so much.

Looks plenty real to me, just has a bit of lens compression, making the fish appear to be close to him but it is actually farther away. Looks like he used a filter on the picture too.

It's a cell phone shot from too close. The wide angle distorts the perspective and exaggerates the size of things closer to the camera. Also it is shot in HDR which gives the lighter outline around him. Real fish, just a little unintentional distortion. Also, I don't think that kid is very big either, at least not as big as most of us, lol!
