    Of course it will work. What is a Roadrunner anyway? Just a marabou jig with a spinner attached. I find that if the crappie prefer a near stationary bait presentation, such as under a float, then a regular marabou jig is adequate. I seriously doubt that the occasional flash of the near stationary blade would be a significant factor in provoking a strike. When they become more aggressive, then I just start casting with a Roadrunner and a slow roll retrieve. JMO.

    Most people use/crank a Roadrunner to fast.
    Jig & Ellie are my green headed corn grinder finders.
