This reminded me of an article from the old RiverSmallies website.

Building the World’s Most Fish-catchingest, Weed-freeest, and Cheapest Lure Ever | River Smallies

Now that I have been pouring my own jigs I think I will order the crappie spinner mold and make my own. The beetle spin was my go to lure growing up...caught everything on that thing including my first muskie.

Thanks - I make my own in-line spinners too. It's nothing to sit and watch a ball game and crank out a bunch of them. I do have to keep them in separate bags for jig size's though!!LOL Kinda hard to get a 1/32nd or smaller on a .031 size wire.

I ues the spiners with hand ties and tubes work great. Some times they are better then plane jigs and roadrunners. allways have`em in my spread.
