Billbob and I were out yesterday fishing with poles longer than my Jon Boat. Winds came up to about hurry cane speed. We got out of the egg beater wind as best we could, but were rigging out our poles between a couple of bassers. One left and gunned his rocket propelled Ranger in front of us as we were rigging our lines and really rocked our boat. The basser went about 100 yards and shut down to beat the bank some more. That hole shot was uncalled for being so close to us. What a rock head.
We finally got rigged up and went on the hunt. We were trolling triple hook rigs. jig on top, jig on bottom, and minner in the middle. What a smorgasbord for a feeding finned filet!
Well, things started to go down hill from here. We kept trolling and adjusting and a looking at the screens. We adjusted to black and white palette so to see the Pomoxis swim by in the glaze of the rays. Needless we saw few speks on the screens that were specks. Keep on trolling and headed to the big water of the Big Sandy, almost.
As we neared the little West Sandy island near the porting of Big Sandy, we encountered a strong East wind, but we kep a trolling. Somehow or another the East wind overpowered my troller motor and the Merc shaft hung the buoy marker near the island. And I mean hung.
Disaster only ripened. Surrounding this warker was a monumental brush pile. Needless to say, we soon had 4 poles with 2 jigs and a minner encounter the below surface forest. DECK THE HALLS!!!!!!!
We finally recovered, retied again with the 2 gigs and a minner and started trolling. One yeller bass!! Great catch!! We now squatting in tall cotton.
We trolled and laughed and trolled where the wind allowed us and laughed some more.
The story ends on a good note. We ran into a couple of c.commers from Illinois and got to knaw bones a little.
No, we did not get skuned. We went back to the dock and found a couple of minner munchers.
What a large time me and my pal Billbob had. We share experiences that most have never had and could not comprehend.
Love him like a brother.

If I'm not mistaken, you are only allowed two hooks per line in Tennessee.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.
Sounds like a great day with friends.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
