I think the groundhog did it to everyone this year with 6 more weeks of cold weather. Best of luck and keep warm.

Very disturbing. Getting frustrated with all the snow and cold here. An ice fishing friend of mine said there was over 2' of ice on the local Oxbow yesterday! Spring - whenever it comes - is going to be a slow process this year. We use to always count on being able to fish sometime in March on some body of water. Not sure that will be the case this season.

Doug, Think of how the people in Boston and Cleveland are feeling. I was in Akron 45 years which is just 28 miles from Cleveland. I hated those clippers. Heck, it is 17 here in Alabama where it was 62 degrees yesterday. I am so ready for Spring too.

Have to admit, it's a bit to cold for me to go icefishing right now. I have all the equipment i'll need to stay warm but these old bones just cant take being out there like I used to be. 20* isn't bad but when the wind is blowing 30 to 40 mph, count me out. Wind chill gets down to sub-zero's, i'm a couch potato.

People, it has to be really cold for Chaunc to admit that! He is a Pittsburgh Steeler fan and he says they are tough! He loves to ice fish but he loves to stay warm better. LOL

Not true Mike. I dont mind the cold. It's the BITTER cold that will keep me indoors. I'm not a fair weather fisherman like that browns fan that moved south.

    Chaunc,

That Brown's fan knows that homeboy loves to fish soft water and where the two and three pound crappies live. I am effecting the southern economy by doing my part to spend my hard earned retired money to buy the gas to put in the car to take me to the water to introduce some crappie to the black iron skillet that holds Lake Crisco. Homeboy don't do BITTER COLD anymore
