Not real sure yet until I get it all rigged and on the water come spring. I am guessing around 15MPH?!?! I'm old and slow so we will be a good match!!!

Well that will get you out there, and that is one fishy looking machine! I hope it fills your need perfectly.

i'm about to pick up a 16' v-bottom lake Jon and can't wait to hit Lake Anna, VA with it. Not as spacious, but will have to do. I'm a complete newbie in fresh water, so I'm looking forward to learning everything new. I want to learn crappie, white perch and striper fishing.

Thanks for sharing, and best wishes.

That is interesting! You say you are just getting into fresh water so I guess you are just learning Lake Anna also. I have had 6 or 8 trips there and fished with a guide twice so I know my way around pretty well. Have had some real good crappie trips there. Might try to get down early spring this year to try my new rig while I wait for spring up here. Do you live close to the lake? Forgot the picture on my post is my boys and I at Anna!!

    Zinger,
Yes, I'm 5 mins from the state park. Pretty lake during the week and in the off season. Crazy-busy during summer weekends.

I've ridden around the lake a bit and have fished pretty successfully with a baby jig and also on the fly rod. But I was just shooting blind, not knowing what I was doing. Lots of bluegill, small crappie, baby bass and some kind of angry, big-mouth sunfish. A war-mouth, maybe? Little needle teeth, and just angry at the world. So much fun to catch!

Would love to learn more, and actually have a plan.
