thanks for all the information, called a boat shop. he will call mercury on monday and ask them if the parts and labor will be covered , since the rectifier is under a year old. If they will not cover the labor cost then i will be better off buying a new rectifier and replace it my self with the information you guys gave me sounds like i should be able to do it myself.. thanks will post again monday night if i find out what the shop will do..
