56 keepers, heck of a day. Nice going
I left work at lunch today going fishing. Got to the river the game warden was in the parking lot. He pulled up and asked me about my tag. I forgot to put my new tags on! He told me the water patrol was out there and would write me up. So he wrote me a warning so I would not get a ticket. Wow that was nice. I thanked him and went fishing. It's nice to see not all wardens are out to get you and we had a great day . Shot docks from 100 till dark kept 56 for a friend probably caught over 100.

Very nice, very rare to have a bad experience with a warden here.

I don't think I ever had a bad experience with Mr. Greenjeans or the ACOE Rangers. I forgot to hang my yearly pass on the mirror last weekend and all I got was a warning. They should of wrote me a ticket but didn't.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
No problems with state or federal wardens here either. Glad you had a good day on the water.
99% of ours are great guys as well. Most are in for the love of the sport and outdoors. I have only had 2 bad experiences here out of a bunch of checks and such. Those 2 problems were the same guy and in the same WMA. Apparently he tried to keep everyone out of 3 blocks of that WMA cause he thought is was his private area since he patrolled it. He has since retired and going about his merry way. I have high respect for ours as well.
Got checked once last fall on martin( marine police),more of a safety check,he did check for fishing & boating license all went well.First time in 6 or 7 years.
