I agree with Grizz. I take a bag with about 10 pairs of the brown jerseys in it. I trade them out if they get wet and they also stay warm in the bag, so I swap them out just for that fact. Also give them to anyone I see without gloves. I wear a heavy pair of hunting gloves when motoring and keep an extra pair of them in the bag. My main thing is to keep my body and head warm, and that way my hands and feet stay warmer since my blood is warm.

I saw something on the net about a wristband that you place a jotpack in and its supposed to keep warm circulation to fingers.

Anyway any help will be appreciated if not I will be limited to fishing only on sundays twice a month.

SEEMS TO ME I USED A METAL COFFEE CAN, PUT A ROLL OF TOILET PAPER IN IT, POURING RUBBING ALCOHOL ON THE TOILET PAPER AND SETTING FIRE TO IT. we used this years ago while sauger fishing at Pickwick. when the alcohol burns out, pour some more on the roll of toilet paper. Cheap and will warm up your hands. lol

Has anyone tried this type of reusable hand warmers? - http://www.greatoutdoorsdepot.com/prism-ezheat.html

One of my repeat clients from MN brings a bunch of them with him when he comes here in the winter. He insisted I give them a try and they are pretty nice.

They are a bit too bulky to put in a glove but you can put them on your wrist or keep them in your pocket to warm your hands when you get a chance. To start them heating up you just bend the metal disc that floats around in the liquid to release the activating chemicals.

The whole thing then turns into a fairly hard jell that can be formed if needed. To rejuvenate them you just put them in boiling water for 6-minutes, which turns the jell back into liquid and drives the activating chemicals back on the metal disk. They are a little pricey up front but can be reused many times. It seems like they would stay hot for about 45-minutes or so.

I've used something like that. They sell them in the drug stores or at Walmart as reusable heat packs, where they have the heating pads. Might be a little less expensive that way.
Just a warning though.... when you "rejuvenate" them , DO NOT use a microwave. If the little bag breaks, the stuff inside will leak out and FRY your microwave. (oops)

I'll have to check them out at WallyWorld - been thinking about getting some. Would feel bad though if I had some and my crew didn't so I would probably have to get a bunch of them. Found some on "close-out" - looks like they are going to a new style and closing out there old ones - http://hotsnapz.com/Merchant2/mercha...=HG3-Clearance

Pretty reasonable with only 3-bux shipping no matter how many you get - if I understand their sales pitch.

We use the "hot hands" they work real well, up to 10 hours. I usually put them in the palm of my hands inside the gloves or in my pockets.
You can't fish with a hung line!
