In addition to taking aspirin, we all need to get our blood pressure checked regularly. High blood pressure is a major risk factor for strokes. I went for a physical a couple of years ago. Even though I felt fine, I found out my blood pressure was sky high. I have to take medication now everyday but it's worth it.

Thank you crappiewisdom. We need to educate people about taking care of their health so they can enjoy fishing. I still get very weak and tired on the left side whenever I try to do something. It took an hour to make a few glow-in-the-dark minnows yesterday. Keep on praying for me.

Yep....I take a small sized aspirin 81 mg everyday plus my blood pressure pill....I do check my blood pressure myself daily. If you buy a BP checker....don't cheap out get a good one with a full sized cuff. About 90 bucks but worth it.

Friday 8/22/14 update. I will be hospitalized probably until Tuesday. Possible 2nd stroke or heart situation.
