I got a pair last week. The best I have ever seen. Looks like they will last forever.

Looks like I will have to put the reel inside the cradle. I have spinning reels and shorter that normal cork handles.
Are there any of you that do this with your holders ? The reel inside the cradle ?
Could some post a photo of this setup...or any photos of the Spyderloks in action ?

Mike, I have 2 B&M 410 rods. They are spinning rods with short foam handles. To get the reel outside the holder I found some PVC pipe that would just slide on the handle. That gets reel out front, plenty stout and not really cumbersome to use. I pull cranks with these and use to long line jigs. Not pretty but works.

They are the third type of holders I have tried and are definitely the best.

I used my holders this weekend and they worked great. I just sat my reel off to the side and it was easy in easy out. They worked fine. I also like the way you mount them in the boat....on the mounting plate on the floor. Very satisfied with them
