Bill...Doug is using the C55 series Chinese cranks ...which is just like the 2 or 3 larger ones you gave me...

I don't think he's pulled any of the smaller ones yet...

I haven't pulled any yet...I'm still in planer board design phase...

Offices in Sardis. Used to be made there. Now made mainly in China like everything else we buy today.

When I was learning to paint crank baits swim baits etc, I bought a lot from china rarely paid over 50 cents for an unfinished blank. With few exceptions, they run true. I do not know where a lot of name brand baits come from but I suspect many are coming from China and know that if you go to Ali-Express a china site you can find an awful lot of name brand lures for 1/3 the price you would pay in the C or B or G stores.

China hooks are terrible but buying unfinished I get to put my choice of hooks on the baits.

I ordered some unpainted crankbaits on 9 June - they arrived today. Not too shabby at all. I really prefer to buy local even if the product is from off-shore, but I can't pass up an opportunity like this.

I would love to get some of these crank baits at such a low price, I just have great concerns using a credit card with a China company. Have any of you had any problems?
