HB 859 or Lowrance Elite 7??

I've got a new boat on the way, ordered an 859 DI for it, my entry into the DI/SI world.

I think you made the right choice. I have always had HBs but decided to try the Elite 7. It has some issues that I was not aware of or I would not have gotten it. I am still working with it and may be able to get it to where I would like, but I never had any problems with the HBs.

The biggest problem with elite 7 is gps. Buying an external gps will solve the problem. Point 1 gps will refresh 5 to 10 times a minute . Other than that elite 7 is a good unit

Agree with Monark or buy a Fishing Hotspot Pro USA 2014 chip updates quickly.
