    The vote to ban is tomorrow at 2pm in Augusta. Surprised no one has said anything.

    I had not heard anything about it. I guess if a bunch of kids start getting hooks in their fingers we will have a bunch of do gooder not fisherman and women wanting to register your hooks or limit the number of hook you can buy along with the capacity of your leader. The only thing I see that this does is give them something else to give you a fine for. Its all about seperating you from your money.

    I plan on moving south full time as soon as possible, hopefully I'll be out of Illinois before summer.

    It was not moved forward. Our lonely stocked trout pick up plastic baits and when the fishermen Kill them thats when they are found. The baits don,t kill the fish.

    There is absolutely nothing in this country that surprises me anymore. My wife and I were watching TV the other night and something came on that would have caused a public uproar for weeks just a few years ago. I no longer even recognize my country. Take me sooner than later, Lord. Beam me up, Scotty!!

    You can bet those do-gooders who think up moronic laws like banning soft plastics have no intention of stopping there.
