I got a few dog fishing partners. Everyone of them has been in the lake at one time or other.

Here's Pita on forward lookout duty. I've posted some of her before. She's 12 now, has diabetes and has gone blind. She still gets around, but I'm afraid to take her on the boat.

This is Sydney. She is a Blue Heeler/Aussie mix and will be 3 months old tomorrow. I'm hoping she likes to go fishing as much as Pita did...she is a little terrorist right now!! I think she is going to be a great buddy at the lake...she is quite the character...

Very nice pix. I have never tried taking the family dog on the boat.

Takes a sorry person to shoot a dog that is bothering no one. I was always afraid to take my dog out in the boat where there are fish hooks. Over the years I've managed to give myself a couple of minor wounds when I have pulled the hook from hang ups and it flew back into the boat. Do you take any special precautions to keep your dogs from getting into the hooks while running around the boat?

Eagle 1 Glad Frodo is holding on. My emotions are just right, send the culprit my way. I am not what would be called an animal nut, although I love my dogs, but I would not be able to tolerate the type of person who did this. Eye for an eye.
