Special K, i agree. Hate to see summer end but the lake will get a lot calmer as it get's colder.
I do very little fishing in the summer months just because of all the chaos, confusion and stress that is involved and as I get older... I seem to have less and less patience for such.

About the only thing I get aggravated over is That I have to work another 2 wks before I get to head to Dale Hollow again,I haven't meant to sound like it's the fishermen that are rude on the water,it's when i'm in either of my boats you see some things that other people do on the water that's just plain disrespectable wether they are in a pleasure boat or fishing boat. I do a lot of lurking on here because there is really a lot to learn from just going from place to place an reading different threads,seeing pictures,how somebody rigs their boat up,etc..
Glad to see you are putting your two cents worth in and speaking out instead of just lurking... and I really do appreciate you responding to this thread topic. You certainly have a valid point that fishermen can be as bad as anyone else on the water... but that was not really the intended subject matter of this thread. My apologies for responding so harshly to your initial response... I did not mean any disrespect to you... but I took it as though you were disrespecting me and were cruising to stir up an argument, which was also not (nor ever will it be) what I intended to do by posting this or any other thread.
This a great forum with lots of great people contributing whatever bits and pieces they can or will. It is nothing without everyone contributing their thoughts and wisdom to it.
