I love this board, it's at the top of my favorites and I usually visit a couple times (if not more) a day. BUT, I was disappointed...I thought my old buddy was back again. Very sad. Tim, where you at? Has anyone heard from him? I was so excited...
Tim had a stroke about 3 months ago now. Last I was in contact with him, they were moving him to his Mother's home for rehabilitation. Since that time, his cell has gone dark and no one from the MS board has heard a word. I gather that he has or had some speach problems from the stroke, so that may prevent him from talking on the phone. I sent him a letter to his Mother's address, but have not heard back from him. If any one has an update on him and how he's doing, I'd love to hear it.

Wannabe...v2.0
A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
I heard a term for this once and I'm not sure if I remember it right. I couldn't find anything about it but I'll give it a shot.....
"Necroposter", someone who brings old dead threads back to life. This has been happening a lot lately and I think it's due to the "similar thread" section at the bottom of the page of each thread. Most of these threads had run their course at one time, but with the amount of newer people to the board, it's virtually impossible to stop it. To some, it upsets them to see a post so old revived, to others, it's their thing they like to do in forums (Never could understand those weirdos), with the "similar threads" section, someone will post to something that's been dead for years.
Regardless, my personal thoughts on the "similar thread" section is that it's bad for the forum. If someone is interested enough in something similar, they'll do a search and come up with plenty of hits within the forum.
