    If you really wanna go warm try the muck arctic pro. We walk (and drive) on foot thick ice for anywhere from 5 to 48 hours at a time up here and sometime sit in one spot the whole time. Best boots i ever owned

    Can't believe no one said mickey boots. I've worn the same pair for years with no need to change. They've kept my feet warm many a morning in the deer stand.

    X2. That's what I do whether hunting or fishing in the winter, unless I'm hunting real close to the house- as in 10 min or less. Just regular cotton socks and shoes, then change to a good wool sock and my boots.
