    MrPaulAR, thanks for the info. I did a ebay search and found (4) 50' rolls for $53 or 26 cents a foot. That's a deal.

    Sorry to jump in here I don't own one but I need direction on which model I should look at...would only use it a couple times a year...juggin and crappie season...little direction for a reasonable price vacuum sealer machine? Please thanks

    There are so many other things you can use them for though? I bought the 3880 (upright style) and this is not my first one by a long shot, but it's so much better than my older flat model. Really a big difference in easy to use. However if you really just want to get by then they sell a lot of Food Saver models on eBay and they all will work.
    What I love about this one is its all auto, just stick the end in and it vacuums it and seals it. I also think it will seal a bag cut from a roll and with my older one I had to seal one end before I took it off the roll or it wouldn't work because it has to draw a vacuum before it will seal it.
