If you watch the video all the way through ... at the very end there IS a law quoted, stating that it is unlawful in that state to attempt to interfere with the lawful taking of game.

Many states enacted laws of this nature to fight against PETA members interfering with anglers & hunters engaged in the lawful pursuit of their targeted game.

Again, is it worth the stress? Move on. You can loose sleep and money in the pursuit of your "rights".

Yes, Sometimes its worth teaching a jerk a lesson! Let him put his money where his mouth is! I not saying fight every battle , but
there is a limit to everything. The jerk took it upon himself to stock a public lake, & the gets mad at a fisherman exercising his RIGHT ( that he paid for)
by practicing conservation. And even though some fishermen are more conservative than others No one gave this guy the job of stocking or enforcing.

On a funnier note........They are BASS for crying out loud! Now if they were crappie?......That would be a different story!

    Default decisions, decisions

I wish I could follow your lead, CanePole. Life's always a balancing act, isn't it? I hate getting my hackles raised, and I'd much prefer to turn the other cheek, especially while trying to have a peaceful day on the water! But, Lordy, I just wish there were fewer opportunities to end up with 2 sore cheeks.....

Best thing to do is pick up and move on. No fish in the lake worth the stress of confrontation.
I think the wonder did a wonderful job. If nothing else informing the homeowner that his opinion is incorrect.

Pack up and move on? No..... we have as much a right to that resource as anyone............... if one just simply packs up and moves on in the face of confrontation, then what will ever change?........................... that approach may work for the French........................but this is America................. we don't tuck our tail between our legs for anyone.

Confrontation does not always lead to violent acts.................... but it can lead to a better end result / understanding if addressed in an adult manor.

But people like that will never learn a thing if we just bend over and say ah.

    Job well done "The Wonder"

The guy the was complaining may be breaking the law by putting fish in a public lake , in some states that is the case

In some states it is against the law to put fish in a public lake without permission from the DNR

I was fishing a dock on Lake Murray and the owner came down and told me that he owned that dock and we could not fish it and that we had to leave. I tried to tell him that I was not fishing his dock but I was fishing the public water under it but he did not want to hear that. We continued to pitch to his dock and he continued to rant. We ignored his ranting until he said he was going to call the game warden to remove us from his property. I laughed at him and told him to call the game warden so that the game warden could inform him what the law states about docks. I finally just told him I did not want to hear anything more from him and for him to just go make the call. He stomped off toward the cussing and do you know we never saw the game warden. Go figure!!
To make life enjoyable, you must have crappie days.
