    I can remember at least 4 times I or someone in my boat has laid a pole down with the bait still in the water, and it was gone after they tended to what ever it was. I can only imagine a big old catfish dragging around my ultralight rig behind him for the rest of his days.
    I caught the end of a rope and pulled in a nice anchor rig one time.

    I snagged an old 25hp merc. motor with my anchor about 15 years ago below Ky. Dam. I like to have never got that thing up!
