    you can't beat fried eggs from bream, bass and crappie. fry'em like you would the fish. they will pop so i fry them together last.

    I've never tried them, but I'm highly likely to believe Micheal (beagle) as much as I may be in error in doing it. I'm the type to try anything once, might have to give it a whirl this Saturday night.

    Just be aware that ... for those lakes that have "advisories" about eating certain fish ... (those that may contain mercury, PCB's, or other contaminants) ... the fat & eggs, of those fish, will contain the larger portion of those contaminants. Crappie are not "usually" on the list of species that may have these contaminants, but they are in some locations. Your state DNR or F&W website should have a listing of those waters & species affected.
