Lund Rebel 1650...I think this is what you are looking for and is a lot easier to manage than the new Mr. Pike which is much larger than the old Mr. Pike.

I have a Lund Fury 1475. It is perfect for fishing the strip pits and most larger lakes in S. Il I run a 10hp Merc and a 25Hp Merc depending on what lake I fish.. For me it is the perfect boat in every way. You have to decide on whats right for you though,,but at least take the time to look at a Fury and see if it fits your needs or not. It is a very well made boat and holds its value well. Out Door Dan

If you like the Tracker and not the Merc I would call around and get pricing on the motor you want. Then get pricing on boat without motor and see if you can build your own package and keep it in your budget. Don't know where you are located but BigRiverMarine in WestMemphis. Bill is a CDC member sponsor and gives members really good discounts. He handles Yamaha and He can get you Susuki which even though I don't own one would be my first choice and I own a Yamaha.

I have a 16' 7" Alumacraft I bought new in 1994. I still use it almost every weekend. In '94 I paid $2200 for boat only. I would buy another any day.

I looked at a LUND the other day, great boat just too big for what I need.

The trouble with Lund is the same as for some of these others, no dealer support down here. I'm in the DFW area now and the closest Lund dealer is in McAlester, Oklahoma. I'm looking at a move to Arkansas and there are no Lund dealers in that entire state, probably because so many aluminum boats are made there.

    Default Tracker

I have a fisher which is made by and is the same as a tracker boat. I bought it new in 2007. Its the larger deep v and is the same as a tracker targa 17.
I have a 115 EFI four stroke Mercury on the boat. I know this is not the boat you are looking at but its a tracker/mercury so I though I would let you know what I think.

I have used this boat A LOT since I bought it brand new. I have had the following problems with the boat:
    1. My volt gauge went out. Tracker sent me a new one for free.
    2. I replaced my starter last summer on the Mercury. It has be used a lot and this 500 dollar repair is all I have had.

The boat is great. I fish this boat on my lake in about 8 or so crappie tournaments and I tow it to Minnesota and walleye fish once a summer. And it handles the big waves of Lake Kabetogama pretty well. I would not hesitate to get the tracker.

I ran across a killer deal on this small fiberglass bass boat and couldn't resist. It has only a few hours on it and looks brand new.

Teach your wife how to do the boat work. If you ain't got a wife, got to wallmart and find on that will fit in you boat seat.
