Back in the late 80s or early 90s there was a 10lb bass caught on Barkley Lake during a crappie tournament. They kept it in the minnow tank at Poplar Creek Marina for a week or so then turned her back. IIRC she was caught by a doctor from Owensboro. I bet that was a fight on a light spinning rod with light line.
