Now yesterday I tried to download the page and it popped up immediately. Heck the first two times I thought I had to enter my email addess and password before the pictures of the fish appeared. But yesterday when the web site was working for me the pictures came up immediately. But I didn't take the quiz yet. LOL I am going to use my fish identification book and study the pictures real good before I take the test. At first glance I could tell that I forgot what the sunfish family looked like. Some of the more exotic fish were easier for me. But to me all the sunfish look almost alike.

It's quite possible that the web site was not working when I tried to access it and that it was back in operation when you accessed it. And the internet is a strange piece of work.

I will try it again later. I just don't have a lot of patience to wait for a site to open up. If it does not open in in a few seconds I move on. lOL

OK I finally took the quiz tonight. I studied my book but it was not as helpful as I needed. The pictures were in black and white and I had to read the text in the key book to determine the colors of each fish. And the photos on the Quiz page were pretty small. I guess since they were limited in the number of pixels they could contain and still show up all one one page and to also reduce the download size. If they had more pixels per fish it would take days to download the quiz over a phone modem at 56K

Anyway I got a 35 out of 37 the first time and then 100% the second time. I missed the mooneye as I guessed on that one. LOL got tired of looking in the book at all the different fish families. and then I missed the Channel catfish as I keyed it out in the book and it showed it as a bluecatfish. But I didn't see the channel catfish at the bottom of the key books pages. The channel and the blue are on the same page and I saw the Bluecatfish first. Those were the only two catfish that had deeply forked caudal fins or tail fins.

The Sunfish were hard and I spend the most time on them which is why I was so tired and guess on the mooneye calling it a silverfish. LOL My Bad.

I did go back and find the mistakes and easily figured out the correct answers. Now that is all the fish quized I need for a while. LOL Talk about stess! This test reminded me of that **** ick class I had to take. Just glad that we didn't have to spell the scientific names correctly.

I missed 11 on the first round and 5 on the second try. Guess I need to brush up on my fish species.

Y'all give it a try and post your results just for kicks. It takes a long time to load so be patient. It doesn't give you the right answer - only tells you which ones are wrong so you can keep trying if you're bored - I must be I'm going to give it one more try.

Only Moose would waste the time studying for an internet quiz.I got 27 right. Never did see a green carp option though. The sunfish family burned me bad. They all are bream or bluegill or punkinseed around here.

Fatboy goes to Moose's house, takes all the Zima's away(they still make those things?), tells him a man shouldn't be doing cartwheels, then goes back home.

I never saw a Zima beer before unil I took my then wife, step daughter and her girlfriend to Panama Beach Flordia for spring break. The two girls had fake ID's and went and bought some Zima's one night. They brought them back home with us and stuck them in my frig. I had no idea what they were at first but I ended up trying one. It went down fast and smooth. I ended up drinking the entire 6 pack. LOL The kids didn't need to be drinking as they were both underage an only Freshmen in College a Purdue at the time. They never missed them at all. LOL

So every once in a while I get a six pack of the Lime Zima's and or the Tropical Whine Coolers which I enjoy from time to time. But my main drink is still a Wild Turkey Wiskey Sour. Now those drinks are worth keeping. LOL

They are making a Wierd new type of Zima these days. Wild Cherry or something like that. I didn't like that as much as the Lime flavored clear Zima's.
