Trying to post pic,but says file to large. Any advise on how to post pic on Crappie.com? Don't use photo bucket or cloud storage. Thanks, mike g

halibut4me, Go to settings on your Pone and select the smallest sized Settings you can. That's what worked for me...

I am still not getting it Jamesdean. Not real social media in tune( at all). Do you mean phones actual settings or C.com app settings? Can't find picture settings in either? Thank you.

Try this :

open your phone's "Camera" and click on the gear looking icon (settings) .... then click on "picture size" (for the "back" camera) ... then choose a smaller image size than what you're currently using.

I use the second largest pixel count that my phone lists, and I don't have a problem posting pics at that image size ( 2048x1536 ), but you may want to start out with a smaller pixel count setting when testing the results.

BUT ... some phone pics will appear on this site turned to the left (when taken with phone held upright). If your pics post that way, the easiest solution to that is to take pics you intend to post here ... with the top of the phone pointing to the right. You can always use the TEST FORUM to see if & how your pictures will come out on this site. And you won't need Photobucket or any other hosting site, because once the pics are posted here, they're hosted here. And once you get the pic posted on the Test Forum in the proper orientation, you can simply copy/paste that pic to any other forum on the site.

Thank you so much for the advise on resizing pics to post here!!!
On camera settings I don't see any adjustments for pic size ( but there is pixel changes for video: go figure). Only options on camera setting is 1) full screen,2)shutter tone,3)Geo tagging,4)review (in second Intervals of review), 5)storage,6) restore defaults . be I'll keep playing with it and Google it for my cheap ZTE knock off phone to learn more or if doable. I have to have the 7-yr-old granddaughter show me how to operate tech stuff. I take the picture with my phone, send it to my PC, then download to CDC from the PC. I'm sure there are simpler ways, but I'm satisfied being techno-illiterate (as long as I can get help from the grandkids).

Thanks bigskyfishernan, was thinking the same as far as transfer to pc to edit for size. Good idea, just got take the time to do it now.
