I'm probably making this harder than it is...I bought an Xpress this fall. The factory seat bases accept 3/4 threaded pedestals. I got two short ones for sitting position, but I'm wanting a taller adjustable one when I'm one-pole jigging. It seems like there are 10 different varieties of 3/4 pin bases. Ordered a kingpin 3/4 post type from cabelas only to find out it won't work. Someone help me out and point me to a 3/4 threaded 24-30ish adjustable pedestal please. Thanks.

Or you can buy one used somewhere (wherever you can find one - yard sale, flea market) and remove the ends and head to the local muffler shop and cut one to the exact length you want. Painting is necessary but it's cheaper than some of the options. Keep us posted.......Skeet.

So was I given the correct info...kingpin type post won't work in the 3/4 bases that accept threaded post? I haven't received it yet to try, I actually called and cancelled order because I was told it wouldn't work in my base. Is 3/4 not all the same?
Any 3/4 inch post will work as long it doesn't hit the threads in the base. Measure your screw in pins then measure a standard pin. If the unthreaded pin will not contact the threads in the base you're good to go.

If Springfield posts will work, you may want to go to their website and go to the "scratch and dent" (I think that's the term they use) section of their website. I got some bases and an adjustable post for next to nothing and they look like brand new. Worth a look anyhow. Good luck with the search.
I use a Swivl-Eze by Attwood Adjustable power Pedestal #3004-R, adjusts 15" to 18". The 3204-R adjusts 24 to 30". Purchased mine from Grizzly Jig Co.
China world (walmart) carries swivl-eze here .
So will this seat in the 3/4 threaded kingpin base work for my application?

Looks like the one pictured is threaded. If you don't want the threads, cut them off.
