Have any of you used wally marshals crappie cranks from BPS. I ran across them in the catalog yesterday and wondered if you guys used them. The colors seemed limited.
Good things come to those who bait.

I've looked at them, they sort of favor Wally :D
One of the guys in our club has a couple of them, I think he has caught
a few on them. I agree on the colors.

How about trolling with the wind or into the wind? Seems I read somewhere that trolling with the wind was best. Maybe whatever little current is felt has them looking into it?

My .02 if I'm setting up to just make a trial pass through a spot, I'll try
to be going with the wind - it's a lot easier to handle the boat for me, and
like you said, all the pro's say go with it. But if I'm on fish, and going round
and round, it doesn't seem to matter to much. I haven't really tried to do
statistics on it, but I do catch enough going back upwind to make it worth it.
Saves having to reel in and put back out too!

I bought one each of all the colors and have had some success on the white char and the pink, i just got them so the jury is still out.
