    LOL, you guys are too technical. I just put a MinnKota Terrova 36V I-Pilot 101# thrust on my 18 ft Fisher Marsh Hawk with three Optima Blue top batteries. I figure they'll last all day and I won't have to wrack my brain trying to use fancy formulas .

    You will be good to go, watch them Blue Top Optimas tho. If one doesnt seem to be holding charge or doesnt charge as quick as the others take it back, there has been some probs with em. Love my 101 Ipilot and golf cart batteries, pull cranks for 2 days and still going.

    I think I found the answer, going to look at a power rascal with new batteries cheap don't look real shine but new batteries $85

    Newton and Kirchhof are not related. The only common denominator would be a stop watch and that would result in different answers when considering different conditions. In other words, CatFan is right.
